On a serious note the mortgage rates have never been at such a low level for anyone with a 20% deposit.
Rates for remortgages with 20% equity are equally as good.
The deals for first time buyers have also improved although it is still necessary to have a 10% deposit. Talking to local professionals especially the local independent estate agents who GAM have a very good relationship with, they advise that more quality property is coming on the market and they are selling within reasonable time frames.
For those house owners cursing a fixed rate of 5% for the last few years, you will now be able to take a fixed for 2yrs at half this level!!
